Raptor
Experience Wales is a falconry centre based near Machynlleth in Mid
Wales, and offers you
the opportunity to tailor-make your own experience with a wide variety
of Birds of Prey, including Owls, Falcons, Hawks, old and new world
Vultures and an Indian Tawny Eagle.
Experience their world in a relaxed, non commercial setting.
Discover to your delight the individual personalities of each bird, and
learn about each species, their habitat and survival strategies in the
wild, through to specialized techniques in training raptors.
We are based amidst spectacular scenery, with stunning views of the
Cambrian Mountains and the Dyfi Valley. This allows the birds to
demonstrate their natural behavior providing an impressive insight in
to the world of Birds of Prey.
All our activities have to be pre-booked and are by appointment only,
providing you with attention on a one-to-one basis.

Essential Booking Information
Please note
that age restrictions apply to all our activities as
follows:
7-16 year olds must be accompanied by adults.
All activities for 16 year olds and over are charged as adults.
Spectators are welcome to join their partners or families for their
experience of the birds in all respects for half the price of the
activity.
Dresscode for all activities:
Please dress appropriately for the
outdoors. Bring along suitable footwear ie. walking boots (not
wellies) and wet weather clothing in case of sudden downpours, as we
are in the
mountains.
No dogs allowed, sorry.
